A well known Lexington retailer files for bankruptcy protection.
Phillip Galls which has operated since 1902 closed yesterday and filed for chapter seven liquidation.
The Herald Leader says owner Steven Gall listed almost $700,000 in debts and just over $100,000 in assets.
