There were some tense moments at Blue Grass Airport on Tuesday morning after a commercial airplane reported problems.
Flight 2903 was on its way from Detroit to Lexington when the pilots reported a flap failure on the wings. The flaps are used to slow the plane down when it lands.
Emergency personnel were called in as a precaution, but the plane was able to make a safe landing.
There were 28 people on board the Northwest Air Link Flight, but there were no reported injuries or problems.
Airport officials say it is a quick fix and that there were no delays as a result of the plane problem.
