Suspected Cop Killer To Be Tried In Powell County

There's new information in the case of the man accused of killing a central Kentucky police chief.

Attorneys for Jamie Barnett say they do not plan to try and get his trial moved out of Powell County.

Barnett is accused of killing Clay City police chief Randy Lacy while in the back of his cruiser.

Barnett's attorneys state in court records that they do not have sufficient evidence that Barnett can't get a fair trial.
