Groundbreaking Ceremony Held For New Expo Center

Tourism has become a huge industry in the bluegrass and a new multi-million dollar facility here in eastern Kentucky should increase that.

A groundbreaking was held Tuesday for the new Southeast Kentucky Agricultural and Exposition Center.

The $12,000,000, five-thousand seat expo center will be located right off I-75 in Corbin.

Governor Fletcher was on hand to support the economic development it will bring to the state.

The center is expected to be finished within 18 months.
