Hundreds Wake Up Without Water; Lines Break

Updated: Wed 8:43 AM, Aug 15, 2007

There are water concerns in Harrison County this morning. About 200 people in Cynthiana are without water at this time.

Two water lines and fourteen service lines are broken.

The break caused standing water on roadways, causing some concern about school buses. However, classes were not canceled.

There is a boil water advisory for those living on Old Lair Road, Cook Pike, Colony Drive and Jill Lane.

City officials believe a construction project may have lead to the problem. No word on how long customers will be without water.
