Record Breaking Temperatures In Central Kentucky

The sweltering heat is back in a big way.

For the first time in eight years, the temperature in Lexington hit 101 degrees on Wednesday.

That 101 mark is the hottest it's been on this day in August for 71 years! Our previous record was 98 degree, set in 1936.
