Man Arrested In Southern Kentucky Shooting

One man is in jail, another in the hospital, after an early morning shooting Thursday in Whitley County.

The shooting happened at a trailer on Long Bottom Road in Williamsburg.

Police say the two men know one another.

Dispatchers tell 27 NEWSFIRST family members of the victim tried driving the victim to the hospital when they were pulled over by police for speeding.

Police later arrested the suspect at a car wash on the Cumberland Falls Parkway.

The suspect's name hasn't been released.
