There's a crime alert in Boyle County after a violent home invasion at a Danville apartment complex.

Police are looking for three men who broke into an apartment on Hill-N-Dale Drive.

Investigators say the men used duct tape and shoestrings to tie up a woman and her boyfriend who were inside the apartment. Police say the intruders stole electronic devices and jewelry.

Police do not believe this was a random crime.
