The four candidates who want to be Lexington's next mayor squared off in a debate.
Monday night's debate was held at the "Church at Tatesbrook" on Appian Way.
Incumbent Mayor Jim Newberry and challengers Jim Gray, Teresa Isaac and Skip Horine all answered questions from a panel of journalists.
Economic development was a hot topic and each candidate discussed ways of getting jobs into Lexington.
All four candidates came to an agreement: They said they were all against a proposed 37.5 percent rate hike from Kentucky American Water Company.
