FRANKFORT, Ky. (AP) - Gov. Steve Beshear and first lady Jane
Beshear are inviting Kentuckians to a Derby celebration at the
Capitol on Saturday morning.

The event will include arts and crafts vendors, a food drive for
the needy and a breakfast featuring Kentucky-grown products.

Parks Department employees will cook country ham, sausage,
chicken and homemade muffins for the annual Derby breakfast, any of
which can be purchased for $1. Hot coffee and cold water will be
available free.

Participants also are being encouraged to bring along canned
