Friday was an important day for incoming freshman at the University of Kentucky. Thousands of students showed up to move into the dorms.

This year's freshman class has more than 4000 students. 90 percent of them live on campus.

The rest of the student population will be moving back on to campus within the next few days. As a result, Huguelet Drive will become a one way street, heading west, through Sunday.

President Lee Todd spent some time on Friday morning greeting students and parents outside the Kirwin and Blanding dorms.

Classes at UK are back in session starting on Monday.
