On Wednesday morning, three men charged with murder appeared before a Madison County judge.
A judge entered not guilty pleas for 22-year-old James Brown, 24-year-old William Ambrose, and 29-year-old Robert Girdner.
All three were arrested Tuesday. Ambrose and Girdner were arrested after a chase.
State police say 33-year-old Gary Hicks, Junior was shot to death in his home in northern Madison County Monday night.
Hicks' father spoke to 27 NEWSFIRST off camera Wednesday, saying he couldn't talk about his son's murder right now because it was simply too painful for him.
All three suspects are being held in the Madison County Detention Center on a $250,000 full cash bond.
