Rounds of showers and storms continue to push across the region. Flash flooding is the main threat tonight into Wednesday.
We could learn more Thursday about the case of three high school seniors who allegedly kidnapped, then tried to kill a classmate.
A preliminary hearing is scheduled in Jackson County Thursday morning for Ashley Sams and Corinne Schwab.
Police say the two, along with a 17 year old, kidnapped Cheyenne Williams then tried to push her off a cliff.
Sams and Schwab are charged with attempted murder.
The Kentucky Equality Federation wants the case to be prosecuted as a hate crime because Williams is openly gay.
However, attorneys for the defendants have said Williams was a willing participant in the incident, which they say was staged.
