Man Drowns In Cumberland River

WILLIAMSBURG, Ky. (AP) - A 51-year-old Corbin man who died on an
outing with friends is being listed as a "possible drowning" victim, pending results of an autopsy.

Whitley County Coroner Andy Croley says Lonnie Sulfridge's body was recovered from the Cumberland River last night near Piney Grove.

The autopsy is to be performed at the state Medical Examiner's office in Frankfort.

Piney Grove is 61 miles south of Lexington.
