A violent crash overnight in Clark County sends five people to the hospital. It happened on Amster Grove Road.

Police say a car and pick-up truck nearly collided along the narrow road.

The car flipped, injuring the two people inside.

The truck went off the roadway and more than 20 feet down into a ravine. Emergency workers were able to reach and rescue the three people inside the truck in about two hours.

Amster Grove, which is off Athens Boonesboro Road, has since re-opened.
