People poured into Churchill Downs to see the races, Saturday.
They come from all around, making their way to Churchill Downs for the Kentucky Derby.
However, it wasn't the hats or horses grabbing all the attention this year, for most it was the wind and rain.
Many people who were outside watching the races hid under covered shelters and tents most of the day when it rained.
The rain also took a toll on the clothing choices for the day, many people turning to ponchos and rain boots, rather than derby hats and heels.
Still it didn't stop people from going to the races, or the celebrities from hitting the red carpet.
