Some storms are possible during the morning and afternoon on Tuesday. Damaging winds and flooding will be the main threats. With an already soaked ground, expect strong winds to easily bring down some trees.
FRANKFORT, Ky. (May 1, 2010) -- As the threat of high water and flooding continues across parts of the state, highway officials are reminding motorists to be extra cautious, especially in flood-prone areas.
Kentucky has received several inches of rain from the stalled weathermaker expected to hover over the state through the weekend. Rainfall could be heavy at times. Motorists are advised to never drive into water across a roadway.
