Strong and severe storms continue to push across central and eastern Kentucky. This action should begin to wind down over the next few hours.
On Monday a record number of volunteers participated in UK Fusion Day.
It's described as the largest single-day community service project in Kentucky.
Nearly 13 hundred volunteers, made up of UK students, faculty, and staff, took part in the event.
They volunteered their time at 63 Lexington neighborhoods, social service agencies, and public facilities, such as parks and museums. This is the fifth year for the event.
