Philadelphia Firm Files Lawsuit Against Mattel

A Philadelphia lawyer says an apology and a recall from Mattel just aren't enough.

Jeffrey Killino says his Philadelphia firm filed a class action lawsuit Monday against Mattel.

The lawsuit would force the toy-maker to pay the costs of lead testing for children who played with the toxic toys.

Mattel recalled millions of Chinese-made toys last week, including the "Sarge" Jeep from the hit movie "Cars."

China is doing damage control, airing a series of programs defending its products, insisting Chinese exports are safe.
