Traffic Woes Around Lexington's Dunbar High School

Video will be available shortly

Traffic is getting so bad around Dunbar High School, some parents are having to let their kids out in the middle of busy Man o' War Boulevard.
But school officials are working to get rid of the traffic headache.
Every morning, well before classes start at 8:25, traffic backs up around the school along Man o' War.
Officials say part of the problem results from the fact the school is overcrowded.
It was designed to accommodate 1,500 students. But this year, it has 2,100.
School officials suggest more students use school buses to get to class.
They're also telling parents not to drop off their children in the front of the school.
Instead, parents are asked to pull into the staff parking lot, go right, and as far up the lane as possible for drop offs.
You can get more information about the traffic plan by going to the school's website below.
