Flood damage information needed from Madison County residents

Madison County residents who have had flood damage to their homes are urged call the Madison County Emergency Management Agency at 624-4787 to report the damage. This information will help in obtaining an accurate assessment of the flood’s effects in the county. Homes which had six inches or more of water in their first floor are considered to have major damage. Flood damage information will be included in a damage assessment document only, and does not take the place of reports to insurance companies. Residents who have experienced flood damage to their homes and property should document all evidence of damage, and any subsequent repair, in detail. Once again, Madison County residents are urged to call the Madison County Emergency Management Agency at 624-4787 to report flood damage.
