A boil water advisory was issued Thursday morning for water customers in Bath County.
All customers of the Bath County Water District, Sharpsburg Water District, and the city of Owingsville are affected.
Bath County Water District officials say no contamination has been confirmed.
But officials say customers should bring all water to a rolling boil for three minutes.
They also say boiled or bottled water should be used for drinking, making ice, brushing teeth, washing dishes, and food preparation.
The boil water advisory is in effect until further notice.
