The Community Housing Fund is hosting its annual Repair Affair project.
It provides some much needed home repairs for free, thanks to some hard working volunteers.
Volunteers spent Thursday morning working at a home on Breckenridge Street in Lexington.
The focus of Repair Affair is to help elderly homeowners by making repairs on their homes.
Volunteers are doing everything from painting to repairing gutters.
Mary Crawford, whose home is being repaired, says she could have never done the work alone.
"It just means the world to me," Crawford said. "I never could have afforded it. God is good."
In all, 15 homes will be repaired as part of the project.
Applications are now being accepted for this year's Repair Affair.
