New Circle Road Barrier Project Complete

A major construction project along New Circle Road is now finished.

The cable barrier system running from Richmond Road to Georgetown Street has been installed.

Crews began the project several months ago.

The barrier is designed to prevent cross-over accidents.

Officials plan to due to a final inspection of the system within the next few weeks.

50,000 to 80,000 cars travel New Circle Road each day.
