Police Searching For Bank Robbery Suspect

Video will be available shortly

Police search a Lexington neighborhood after a bank hold-up that happened late Wednesday afternoon.

A man walked into the Fifth Third Bank on Leestown Road just before 3. Police say he approached a teller, put a dark sack on the counter and demanded money. The robber did not imply or show a weapon.

He was last seen, walking into the tree line at the back of the building.

The suspect is described as a white male, 25-30 years old, approximately 5'10", 165 pounds, with neatly trimmed hair. He was wearing a white ball cap with the letters "UK" inside a circle on the front of the cap, dark sunglasses, a blue long sleeve shirt and blue jeans.

Police think it is the same person who held up the same 5/3 location on July 27th of this year.

If you know the robber, call Lexington police at (859) 258-3700 or Bluegrass Crime Stoppers at (859) 253-2020.
