A woman is recovering after nearly drowning in a Lexington reservoir.
The woman and another man were operating a radio controlled boat on the water near Lakeside Golf Course on Wednesday afternoon, when the boat stopped.
The man can't swim, so the woman decided to go in the water for the boat.
She lost her strength and had trouble staying afloat. The man ran for help.
The woman had managed to hold on to a shore-line tree, until EMS and rescue crews arrived.
Crews checked her blood pressure and were able to calm her down.
