Baze's Attorneys Expected To Appeal Execution

Attorneys for death row inmate Ralph Baze say Governor Fletcher signed his death warrant too early.
Yesterday's warrant set Baze's execution for September 25.
But his attorneys say he still has an appeal before the U.S. Supreme Court that may not be decided until two weeks after that date.
They're now trying to stop the execution.
Baze was convicted for the 1992 murders of Powell County Sheriff Steve Bennett and Deputy Arthur Briscoe.
