An 18-year-old faces several charges after police say he led them on a high-speed chase.
Kentucky State Police say it started just before 8 Tuesday morning, when a trooper saw a 2008 Ford Mustang traveling east on the Louie B. Nunn Parkway at a speed more than 100 miles per hour.
The trooper tried to make a traffic stop, but police say the driver, 18-year-old Cody R. Wilson of Jamestown, continued into the Russell Springs area.
Police say Wilson was eventually stopped on Highway 379 at the French Valley Church.
Wilson is now charged with speeding, reckless driving, fleeing or evading police, and disregarding a stop sign.
