Police have Mount Vernon have charged two teenagers with vandalizing several buildings around the city.
Police say they questioned a 17-year-old male and a 15-year-old male following the incidents. They've since charged both teens with three counts of third degree criminal mischief, and one count of second degree criminal mischief.
Police say the teens will be cited to court with the Court Designated Worker that handles juvenile cases.
Tuesday morning, police say profanity and graffiti was spray painted outside of Mount Vernon Elementary School, Rockcastle Middle School, First Baptist Church, and a business in Mount Vernon.
