Young crash survivor out of danger

TRIPOLI, Libya (AP) - Doctors in Libya say a 10-year-old Dutch
boy who was the only survivor of a plane crash is out of danger.
The boy had surgery for multiple fractures in both legs. Libyan
TV showed the boy with one eye bruised and swollen closed,
breathing through an oxygen mask with multiple intravenous lines
connected to his body.
The Libyan jetliner crashed minutes before landing in Tripoli,
killing 103 people. Most were Dutch tourists returning from
vacation in South Africa.
Little is known about the child, but a Dutch official says the
barely conscious boy muttered "Holland! Holland!" after he was
found.
Officials can't explain how the boy survived. One called it
"truly a miracle."
