Heavy snow is taking its time moving through the state of Kentucky. This will be a historic once its all said and done with a few spots around a foot of snow.
Crews spent part of Thursday afternoon repairing a gas leak.
A gas main, with 40 to 50 pounds of pressure, was hit at Vine and Upper just before noon Thursday.
As a precaution, parts of Vine Street and Upper Streets had to be closed. The Fayette County Attorney's Office was also evacuated.
We're told crews now have the leak under control, and traffic is starting getting back to normal in most areas.
