FEMA opening recovery center in Kentucky

FEMA is opening a special office to help victims of the recent flooding.

A recovery center will begin operations at 8 a.m. Saturday.

They will set up at the Rowan County Rescue Squad building at 1350 Divide Hill Road in Morehead.

The center's regular hours will be from 7 a.m. To 7 p.m. seven days a week.

Staff will review people's cases, answer questions and give them information on programs that could help them.

You are asked to register before showing up.

You can do that at disasterassistance.gov or by calling 800-621-3362.
