Paris man jailed on marijuana charge

PARIS, Ky. - Paris Police have arrested a local resident and charged him with growing marijuana.

Chief Tim Gray says officers from his department took 41-year old Aaron A. Bennett into custody and charged him with growing pot after they found 21 plants in the backyard of his residence at #26 West 9th Street.

Bennett was charged with marijuana cultivation of over five plants, a felony. He is lodged in the Bourbon County Detention Center. An investigation is continuing.
