A day after passing a property tax increase, Fayette County school officials say they're eager to show the community why it's so badly needed.

They're hoping to use the money to fund renovations at several schools.

The property tax increase is getting plenty of support so far especially from the city's businesses. Several business leaders gathered Tuesday to announce the formation of "It's About Kids and Where They Learn."

Members of the group say they're concerned about some of the facilities at Fayette County Schools.

They think the tax increase is the best way to fund repairs.
