Bank Robbery Suspect

Just before 10:00a.m. Wednesday, the Farmers National Bank on Main Street in Burgin was robbed by two men with a long barreled handgun.
The suspects ran from the scene, leaving a trail of money behind them.

State police are still searching for two white men. Late Wednesday night police released a composite sketch of one suspect. He is described an older man and a scraggly beard, wearing a black t-shirt. The other is a younger man wearing a baseball cap and blue plaid shirt.

Troopers say the suspects fled the scene in an unknown vehicle and in an unknown direction but dropped some cash. Troopers and detectives are currently canvassing the neighborhood in search of more clues.
