Convicted killer Shane Ragland will be a free man. Thursday morning, the 34-year old is scheduled to turn in his electronic monitoring anklet.
Tuesday, Ragland pleaded guilty to second degree manslaughter in the 1994 shooting death of UK football player Trent DiGiuro.
Ragland was given credit for time already served.
The DiGiuros still have a civil case pending against Ragland.
