Sports Writer Apologizes To KY

Fox Sports writer Jay Glazer, who last week blasted the state of Kentucky in an online report, has apologized.

In his article, titled "Bengals Look Good, but Kentucky's the Pits," he took swipes at the region, using terms like "hillbilly" and "goober" in referring to people he met.

In an article posted Wednesday, the foxsports.com writer says, "For those Kentuckians who were offended by my words, that was certainly not my intention and I hope you will somehow understand that I was not trying to hurt anyone nor tarnish a group of people."

Glazer also says it was supposed to be a fun slice of America and he'd come back to Kentucky in a heartbeat.
