Father Of Six Killed In Afghanistan

Six children in Hardin County now without a father after he was killed while serving in Afghanistan.

43-year-old Sergeant First Class Daniel Miller died on August 24th when his Humvee flipped over a during a non-combat-related accident.

He leaves behind his wife of 22 years, Anne Miller. She says his love for the military started at a young age. He even gave his sons military haircuts and collected GI Joes.

The couple's youngest child is seven months old and never really got a chance to know her father.

Daniel Miller was assigned to the Army's First Brigade, First Infantry Division at Fort Riley, Kansas. He also fought in Operation Desert Storm and served in the National Guard.

His funeral is scheduled for Saturday in Radcliff.
