Suspected bank robber identified

Lexington Police have identified the man wanted for a bank robbery nearly a year ago.

Authorities say 35-year-old Jonathan Daykin robbed the Central Bank on Richmond Road in July of 2009, then disappeared near Brannon Crossing in Jessamine County.

Police say they're not sure where Daykin is.

Police say he was armed and needed cash that July day.

Crews canvassed a nearby golf course and the Brannon Crossing Shopping Center, but Daykin was gone.

Daykin is a Michigan native.
