Crime Stoppers: PNC Bank Robbery

By  |

It's all caught on camera. On April 28th, a man walks into the PNC Bank in the Woodhill Shopping Center and approached the teller.

"He produced a not which he handed to the teller and it stated he wanted $5,000 dollars. She was very shaken and wasn't able to count out the money, so she just handed him a stack of bills and he departed," says Detective Elizabeth Adams.

There were other customers in the bank at the time, but the man didn't make the robbery obvious.

"He had a dark bank bag that he used to carry the money out of the store," says Detective Adams.

Now police are hoping you recognize the man responsible for the crime, described as a white male, with grayish hair and wearing a ball cap, who is believed to be in his fifties.

Crime Stoppers is offering a $1,000 cash reward for information leading to an arrest in this case. Call Crime Stoppers at 859-253-2020. It's an anonymous call.
