The cold front is now working into eastern Kentucky with winds gusting to near 40mph at times. Temps have dropped into the 30s behind the front and we've had reports of sleet and snow mixing with the rain in Lexington.
Kentucky's First Lady went out of the state today to promote the World Equestrian Games.
First Lady Jane Beshear was at the Culture Center in Charleston, West Virginia.
She talked about how the games, which are headed to Lexington later this fall, will benefit folks all over the region.
The games are set for September 25 and will last through October 10.
This will be the first time ever the World Equestrian Games will be held outside of Europe.
