Man Killed By Train

A man is hit by a train and killed instantly this afternoon near East Seventh Street behind the Smuckers Plant.

Police have identified the victim as Houston Watts, 42. Investigators say Watts was on the tracks when the train was switching cars behind the Smuckers plant.

Lexington police tell 27NEWSFIRST the man's death is being investigated as an accident.
