Georgetown man enters guilty plea to rape charge

LEXINGTON, KY. - Trevor Devon Johnson, a Georgetown man accused of sexual assaults in four Central Kentucky counties, could be sentenced to 70 years in prison for two in Lexington, according to a report in today's Herald-Leader.

Johnson, who is 40, pleaded guilty Friday to raping two women in Fayette County in 1993. Johnson was charged as a result of DNA evidence entered into a national database after a 2003 Scott County sexual abuse conviction.

One victim was attacked in August 1993 while walking from an apartment to a store off Versailles Road. The other was attacked in December of that year in the parking lot of a Hardee's restaurant. Johnson held a knife to the woman, forcing her to drive to a secluded location where he raped her, according to the plea deal.
