RICHMOND, KY - Kentucky State Police report a Richmond woman died yesterday after a collision in Lincoln County.

Ninety-year-old Mary Pace reportedly was driving north on Ky. 2141 when she apparently failed to stop at the stop sign at the intersection with U.S. 127 near Hustonville.

Police say she collided with a minivan headed south on U.S. 127. The vehicles crossed the southbound lane and ended up against a rock wall.

Pace was transported by helicopter to the University of Kentucky Medical Center. She was declared dead at 5 p.m.

The four occupants of the minivan were injured. Two were flown to the University of Kentucky and two were taken by ambulance to Ephraim McDowell Medical Center in Danville.
