Police Cracking Down On Drinking And Driving Labor Day Weekend

Police will be out in full force this holiday weekend cracking down on those drinking and driving.

State police will set up checkpoints across the state to catch impaired drivers.

Police will also conduct compliance checks at retails store and around college campuses. Specifically, focusing on underage drinking.

Drunk driving is one of the nations deadliest crimes.More than 13,000 are killed in highway crashes involving a driver with a blood alcohol concentration of .08 or higher.
