Man Dies After I-64 Accident

One person is dead and another in the hospital after a bad crash on Interstate 64.

State polcie say 82-year-old John Reeder of Corydon, Indiana died when the car he was riding in crossed the median and hit an eastbound car head-on. Sunday afternoon near Mount Sterling. He and another passenger in the car were flown to UK Hospital. Reeder died at the hospital.

Police say two other passengers in the eastbound car went to the hospital for non-lifethreatening injuries.

The eastbound lanes had to be shut down for about an hour.
