Graduation ceremonies start today for Lexington seniors

Today is the last day of school in Fayette County. It's also the day high school seniors in Lexington begin getting their caps and gowns.

There are two ceremonies Thursday night at Rupp Arena. Bryan Station seniors will graduate at four. Tates Creek students will graduate at seven.

The festivities continue Friday at Rupp Arena at one o'clock, when Henry Clay seniors will take their trip across the stage. Lafayette graduates at four and Paul Laurence Dunbar students at seven.

The last day of school this year was scheduled to be May 26th, but several snow days pushed the end of the school year into June.
