Family Loses Home To Fire

Fire destroyed a Lincoln County home.

Firefighters spent several hours fighting the fire on Moon Street in Stanford. When firefighters arrived on the scene, the home was fully engulfed.

No one was inside the home at the time.

One firefighter injured his back, but didn't have to go to the hospital.

Investigators are still working to determine a cause for the fire.

The home was more than 100 years old. The home next door also suffered some damage.
