Four accused killers involved in jail disturbance

Officials at the Fayette County Detention Center say they have some inmates in isolation after a small disturbance.

It happened late Sunday night. We're told the incident involved five inmates and that police were quickly able to put an end to the disturbance.

Monday morning jail officials identified the five involved as Bass Webb, the man awaiting trial for killing his girlfriend in Harrison County, and attempting to run over jail employees in Bourbon County. They say also involved in the disturbance was accused killer Curtis Smith, charged with murder for the shooting of a man at Coolivan Apartments back in October, and Edward Stokley, who's charged with murder for the shooting death of his girlfriend back in April. The other two inmates allegedly involved have been identified as Timothy Meskimen, charged with murder for killing Edgar Hurst in April, and Yullin Sandifer.

Jail officials say some property was damaged in the disturbance, but no inmates or jail officials were hurt. A phone was torn off the wall and some damage was done to a shower.
