Our focus now turns to the potential of record lows this morning. Many areas will finish with thermometers below zero.
A Kentucky family of four makes it out alive after a building collapse.
The Kasee family lived in a downtown Beaver Dam building, that was almost one hundred years old. Time took its toll, when a huge part of the building caved in, blocking the road below.
Bonnie Kasee says she felt the building start to shake, and grabbed her sleeping six-year-old granddaughter.
"I heard a crackling noise and I didn't have an idea, I didn't have a clue what it was," said Kasee.
When police arrived, they found the four family members huddled together on a second-floor balcony, waiting to be rescued. No one was hurt.
